I am happy to finally share the progression of the bump to baby over the past nine months. The first seven months are in front of different doors I thought looked cool in Modena. The last door (seven months) is in front of our apartment building in Modena. After that, we moved to the UK, so month eight is in the gardens of the castle in Arundel. We were going to take the nine month bump picture, but little Amélie arrived early, right before the weekend we were supposed to take it. Instead, here is little sleepy newborn Amélie (and excuse my hair/looking like a disaster) just after we arrived home from the hospital.
Amélie has been such a good baby these past couple of days. She has been more awake lately and loves playing with her stuffed animals and we somehow managed to take this selfie where she is smiling! I don't even know how we did it, but it's my favorite picture.
We're excited for the weekend with a food festival in Chichester, a couple of friends visiting plus it's A's first father's day! We'll be celebrating with a nice Sunday lunch at our favorite local pub. Plus she'll be one month old on Monday!
